Most people will never see the true size of machinery, equipment, plant and the environment involved mining. I have been fortunate enough as an open cut mine photographer to create images that show the mining world above and below the earth as well as the people whose lives are dedicated to it. As a specialist location photographer based in Newcastle, NSW. With a reputation for capturing strong, dynamic images, I have vast experience shooting in all kinds of environments for the Minerals and Energy industries.
Open Cut Mine Photographer
As an open cut mine photographer, working mine owners and contractors operating the sites, I have experience with a multitude of associated companies and industries such as engineers, heavy machinery manufacturers, environmental control, electrical contractors and equipment manufacturers to name a few. Some of the Australian based and international companies I have worked with include: Coal Services Australia, Glencore, Rio Tinto, Thiess, Xstrata, Dyno Nobel, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Komatsu, Caterpillar Australia, White Energy, Centennial Coal, GHD and Cougar Drilling
When photographing in mining and industrial environments, I understands the importance of working safely and efficiently to minimise any downtime in production and providing flexibility in time-frames should it be necessary to change or reschedule a project.
