Bulk Delivery Vehicle Launch Photography for Orica
Documenting fleet, operations, and brand assets in an active mining environment
Client
Orica
Location
Rix’s Creek Mine, NSW
Usage
Internal communications, marketing assets, and corporate image library
Constraints
Active mine site, controlled access, strict safety and PPE requirements, coordination around live operations and vehicle movements
Orica commissioned commercial Industrial Photography and video to support the launch of a new bulk delivery vehicle designed for use in active mining environments. The brief required the production of operational imagery suitable for internal communications, marketing assets, and broader corporate use.
The shoot was planned for an active mine site at Rix’s Creek, requiring coordination around site access, inductions, and operational constraints. Imagery was developed to accurately represent the vehicle in use, its scale within the environment, and its integration into existing site operations.
Photography focused on documenting the vehicle in both static and operational contexts, capturing detail, functionality, and interaction with personnel where required. The brief prioritised clear, technically accurate representation over stylised imagery, ensuring assets could be used confidently across multiple platforms and audiences.
The project built on prior collaboration with Orica and related industry organisations, with an established understanding of site procedures, safety requirements, and working efficiently within operational mining environments.
Video content was captured alongside stills to support launch communications and future asset use.
This project is part of my industrial photography work across mining, infrastructure, and heavy industry.
