Automotive Photography Street Machine Mustang
For the moody ethereal feel, this car photoshoot was a dusk event. While the dwindling sun backlit these exquisite images, we manually lit the front and the side of the car to capture the full glow of the mesmerising pearlescent paint. Trying to snap photos like these on a phone, or without a solid lighting technique will never get the same results – even if you’re a whizz in photoshop. You just can’t digitally create the depth showcased with a real sunset shoot, captured with the right lenses by a skilled photographer.
These images helped car owner Brandon, realise his goal of having his passion project, this powerful Mustang, selected as a finalist in Street Machine’s Young SMOTY awards.
Knowing this was the purpose of the pics, Photographer, Matt Shearer ensured all the angles the judges and voters would want were included in Brandon’s shoot.
